Kansas City’s Husch Blackwell combines with Milwaukee law firm
The name of Kansas City-based Husch Blackwell will be on law firm doors in 19 cities under a “combination” with Milwaukee-based Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, the firm announced Friday.
The combined law firm will have more than 700 attorneys. Officials said it will continue to operate in all markets where both firms now have offices.
Combined, the two law firms had revenue of about $346 million in 2015, a figure that would place the new organization among the nation’s 100 top-grossing law firms, the firms said.
Firm leaders said the combination strengthens the ability to serve clients in the technology, manufacturing, real estate and financial services industries.
In addition to Kansas City and Milwaukee, the expanded Husch organization will have offices in Madison, Wis.; Waukesha County, Wis.; St. Louis; Springfield, Mo.; Jefferson City, Mo.; Austin, Texas; Dallas; Houston; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Memphis, Tenn.; Lincoln, Neb.; Omaha, Neb.; Denver; Phoenix; Chicago; Washington, D.C.; and London.
