H&R Block adds IBM executive Angela Archon to its board

H&R Block Inc. has added an IBM executive to its board of directors, expanding the group to 11.

She is Angela N. Archon, vice president of transformation and chief operating officer of IBM’s Watson Health business. Archon has held various posts at IBM in recent years.

“Ms. Archon has built her career around applying cutting edge technology to serve the needs of businesses and ultimately consumers,” Bob Gerard, chairman of Kansas City-based H&R Block said, in the announcement.
