Cerner Corp. passes 15,000 mark in employment

Kansas City-based Cerner Corp. recently surpassed the 15,000 mark in employment. It now has 15,071 employees worldwide.

The company this year hit the No. 37 spot on Computerworld’s “Best Places to Work in IT” list, up from No. 45 in 2013. It also earned a 2014 “Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles” award from the National Business Group on Health.
