Marketing firm to create 535 jobs in Kansas City
Targeted Metrics, a national marketing company, plans to locate its headquarters and sales operation center in Kansas City, a decision that’s expected to create 535 jobs over the next two years.
The information and services firm plans to initially lease 15,000 square feet at 1504 NW Vivion Road in the Northland. Over the next two years, the company intends to expand to 60,000 square feet and hire 535 employees in the area, according to officials.
“We were impressed with Kansas City from day one of our location search,” Mike McGuire, director of Targeted Metrics, said in a statement Monday. “The Kansas City market offers us a tremendous growth opportunity plus access to an existing available skilled workforce that values high productivity.”
The firm plans to make a $5.8 million capital investment in its new headquarters and sales center. Metropolitan Community College is assisting with job recruitment and applicants are invited to go to the website.
“This is a big win for Clay County,” Pamela Mason, county presiding commission said in a statement. “Targeted Metrics is bringing hundreds of well paying, skilled jobs to our region.”
