U.S. Bank promotes Kansas City banker Mark Jorgenson
Mark Jorgenson, U.S. Bank’s market president in Kansas City, has been appointed head of the company’s community banking operation that covers 25 states.
Jorgenson, who will remain based in Kansas City, will oversee 1,140 branch offices and about 10,000 employees outside larger metropolitan areas, the company said.
Jorgenson has been with U.S. Bank and its predecessor companies since 1981.
Tim Petty will succeed Jorgenson as Kansas City market president. Petty joined U.S. Bank in 2000 and most recently was senior vice president of commercial banking here.
