Quest Diagnostics will hire up to 500 at new customer service center in Lenexa
Quest Diagnostics is opening a customer service center in Lenexa and will start hiring immediately, eventually having up to 500 employees.
Quest, which already has two locations in the area, has leased 78,000 square feet for the national service center at 9601 Renner Blvd. in Lenexa, which is expected to be fully operational by 2015.
“We felt it was a good place to expand our business,” said Wendy Bost, a spokeswoman for the company.
Quest also announced a second customer service center in Tampa, Fla. Both centers will use advanced technology, the company said, to provide faster and better responses for its customers.
About half of physicians and hospitals nationwide use Quest’s services, which range from advanced genetic tests for cancer and rare disorders to routine cholesterol and diabetes screenings.
