Terracon of Olathe acquires Texas firm

Terracon, an engineering services firm based in Olathe, has acquired Building Exterior Solutions LLC of Texas.

The financial terms were not announced for the acquisition, which gives Terracon the Texas firm’s 20-plus employees and offices in Houston, Dallas and the Austin/San Antonio region.

Terracon, which is employee-owned, was the 35th-largest U.S. firm on last year’s Engineering News-Record list of top 500 design firms.

Terracon’s announcement said it has more than 3,500 employees in more than 150 offices in 42 states.
