Epiq Systems names chief financial officer in second management change this year
Epiq Systems Inc. filled its vacant chief financial officer post by naming Karin-Joyce Tjon as executive vice president.
She succeeds Elizabeth Braham, who left the company in March.
Tjon was most recently chief financial officer of Hawker Beechcraft Corp. and previously was a managing director at Alvarez & Marsal, a consulting company that focuses on business turnarounds.
Her appointment completes the second top-level change this year at the legal services company based in Kansas City, Kan. Christopher Olofson resigned last week as vice chairman and is set to leave the firm June 30, after surrendering the posts of president and chief operating officer in May.
