Lockton names Joe Agnello president of the Kansas City operation
Lockton Companies on Tuesday named Joe Agnello president of the Kansas City company’s property and casualty insurance operation.
Agnello, who has worked at Lockton for 20 years, succeeds Ron Lockton, who will focus more on clients and global business issues. Lockton is the son of Jack Lockton, who founded the firm in 1966.
The company is the industry’s largest privately held insurance brokerage and the ninth largest overall. The Kansas City office is the firm’s largest operation, with more than 1,100 area employees. Lockton has more than 5,000 employees overall and revenues of about $1.1 billion.
Agnello is the fifth president of Lockton’s Kansas City operation. He will work closely with Rick Kahle, president of the company’s Kansas City benefits operation.
