Former UMB leader Peter deSilva will head Scottrade brokerage
Former UMB Financial Corp. executive Peter deSilva has become president of Scottrade Inc., the brokerage business of Scottrade Financial Services Inc.
DeSilva stepped down as president and chief operating officer of the Kansas City-based banking company in November. Before joining UMB, he headed the brokerage business of Fidelity Investments from 1987 to 2004.
His new post at Scotttrade begins Monday. The job means deSilva will relocate to the St. Louis area.
