CEO of Leawood-based Carstar featured in Wall Street Journal fitness article

When David Byers talks about ways to keep his daily workout routine fresh, he means flipping 5-foot-high tractor tires across a parking lot or even pushing a Jeep, a pickup or an old VW Beetle.

“I think that’s much more interesting than sitting at a machine and doing 20 reps of something,” said Byers, the chief executive officer of Carstar, a Leawood-based operator of more than 430 collision-repair centers in the United States and Canada.
