DST Systems acquires New York data and consulting business

DST Systems Inc., based in Kansas City, has bought a New York company that provides data and consulting services to investment managers.

The co-founders of kasina LLC, its chief executive officer, Steven Miyao, and its chief operating and financial officer, Lee Kowarski, will lead consulting and product development organizations in DST’s financial services businesses.

An announcement of the purchase did not include information about the terms of the deal.
