American to offer two daily flights between KCI and LaGuardia

American Airlines is adding twice-daily service between Kansas City International Airport and New York’s LaGuardia airport starting April 5.

The airline announced Monday it will offer early morning and early afternoon departures to LaGuardia, with return flights scheduled for late morning and evening.

New York City is the fourth most-popular route from KCI, with more than 500 passengers flying every day, said Mark VanLoh, the city’s aviation director.

American recently announced new nonstop service starting in March between KCI and Cancun.
