Kansas City-based MRIGlobal is helping to diagnose and treat Ebola in Africa.
Through a contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, the scientific research organization has developed two mobile clinical diagnostics laboratories for use in Sierra Leone.
The laboratories are being airlifted from Kansas City this week.
Each is a self-contained unit that includes generators for power, communication systems, clean water, storage and living quarters.
