KCI passenger traffic rises in October, continuing strong year
Kansas City International Airport experienced a boost in passenger travel in October, continuing a stronger showing this year compared with 2013.
Total October passenger traffic at KCI climbed to 927,919 , up 6.2 percent from year-earlier figures, the Kansas City Aviation Department said Wednesday. The number of passengers boarding at KCI was up 5.8 percent for the month, the department said.
Through the first 10 months of 2014, about 4.3 million passengers had boarded planes at the airport. That’s up about 3 percent from 2013, the department said.
