EEOC and Mexican Consulate announce agreement

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Consulate of Mexico at 1617 Baltimore Ave., have signed a memorandum of understanding to provide Mexican nationals in Kansas City with education and guidance about their workplace rights. The agreement includes consular assistance to get pay awards from EEOC decisions to workers who have returned to Mexico. The EEOC enforces federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination.
