New round of Kansas City area health care grants

More than $4 million in health care grants were announced Wednesday by the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City, the final grants round for 2014. A total of 31 nonprofit organizations are getting funds to help deliver “safety net” medical and dental care to the area’s under-served population. Recipients were among 54 proposals asking for $8.9 million in all. Details are available at www.hcfgkc.org.
