Animal health industry recruiting firm adds KC office

The Vet Recruiter, an executive search firm that specializes in the animal health industry, said it will open an office in the Country Club Plaza area in Kansas City.

This will be the Tulsa-based firm’s second office. The company did not disclose the exact office location nor did it say how many employees would work here.

The Vet Recruiter said it selected Kansas City for its new office because of the more than 300 companies that have operations in the KC Animal Health Corridor, which generally stretches from Manhattan, Kan. to Columbia, Mo.

The company was founded in 2004 and is a division of the Pursell Group LLC. The Vet Recruiter focuses on executive search and recruiting for a variety of animal health, veterinary, and agriculture businesses.
