Rehabilitation center debuts in KCK

The Healthcare Resort of Kansas City has debuted a 69,000-square-foot, 100-bed facility at 8900 Parallel Parkway.

The Kansas City, Kan., posthospital rehabilitation center is the first of four such facilities planned for the Kansas City area by Golden Oaks Healthcare Inc., an affiliate of The Ensign Group of nursing-related companies.

The transitional-care center includes private rooms, a movie theater, a game room, a pub and a bistro in addition to therapy.
