Wednesday afternoons at the Sprint Accelerator are taking a themed approach to their regular open co-working space sessions.

This week begins Intentional Collisions, a monthly presentation aimed at bringing experts, beginners and other interested parties on the subject together. It will be “more curated” than earlier speaker sessions have been, said Ari Kern, the accelerator’s manager of community and programs.

Steve Meyers, who is with M2M DataSmart, starts with the topic of the Internet of things and its intersection with machine-to-machine communications. Free tickets are available online.

Kern said the sessions won’t interfere with the normal open workspace time available at the Sprint Accelerator in the Crossroads Arts District between 9 a. m. and 4:30 p. m. on Wednesdays.
