Compass Minerals names new chief financial officer

Compass Minerals International Inc. has named Matthew J. Foulston to be chief financial officer of the Overland Park-based provider of salt and other minerals.

Foulston starts Dec. 2. He succeeds Rodney Underdown, who said in July that he would leave the company this year.

Compass said Foulston would move from the Chicago area, where he has been senior vice president of operations and corporate finance at Navistar International.
