Hallmark names Crayola president
Smith Holland, who has been chief financial officer of Crayola, has been promoted to president and CEO of the Hallmark Cards company. He succeeds Mike Perry, who earlier this week was promoted to president of Hallmark Greetings, a new company created as part of a larger Hallmark reorganization.
Holland now has overall responsibility for Crayola’s business. He has been with Crayola since 2009, before which he was president of Hallmark Canada and had served Hallmark in other executive roles. His previous business experience was with General Electric and McKinsey & Co.
He reports to Don Hall Jr., Hallmark president and CEO, who said Holland led transformation of Crayola beyond a crayon and marker company.
