EyeVerify unveils faster technology
EyeVerify, the Kansas City, Kan., startup that uses mobile phone cameras to match blood vessel patterns in the whites of users’ eyes for identification, unveiled its Eyeprint ID v2.0 today.
The faster biometric security technology is expected to be commercially available in January for iOS and Android devices.
EyeVerify recently completed a $6 million equity funding with participation by Sprint, Samsung, Qihoo, Wells Fargo and other companies.
