BNIM expands presence in California

Shawn Gehle, most recently a design principal with the Gensler architecture firm, has been hired by BNIM to direct its Los Angeles office. Gehle previously worked at BNIM from 1999 to 2005 before moving to California to work with Clive Wilkinson and, later, Gensler.

BNIM, which this year won the Small Business of the Year award from the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, also has offices in San Diego, Calif., and Des Moines, Iowa, and says it is “incubating” offices in Washington, D.C., Houston, St. Louis, and Madison, Wisc.
