KCI traffic increased in March
Passenger traffic at Kansas City International Airport was 2 percent higher in March compared with a year earlier as spring break traveling provided a seasonal boost.
The Kansas City Aviation Department reported that 826,975 travelers passed through KCI in March.
In addition, passenger boardings at KCI were up 1.9 percent from March 2013.
Southwest Airlines, which provides the most service at KCI, and Delta Air Lines, which is No. 2 in terms of service, both reported increases in passenger traffic for the month, the Aviation Department said.
