Owner of Country Club Plaza reports a smaller quarterly profit
Highwoods Properties, which owns the Country Club Plaza shopping, entertainment and office district in Kansas City, on Tuesday reported a smaller first-quarter profit compared with a year earlier.
The Raleigh, N.C., real estate company earned $12.13 million in the three months that ended March 31. That was down slightly from the $12.35 million earned in the same period in 2013.
Rental and other revenues climbed to $148.45 million in the quarter, compared with $130.38 million in revenues for the first quarter last year.
