EPR Properties reports record revenue, but profits decline
EPR Properties on Tuesday reported record third-quarter revenue, but net earnings edged lower.
The Kansas City-based real estate investment trust said revenue climbed 12 percent in the quarter to $98.7 million as its entertainment, recreation and education business units generated growth.
Net income, however, declined in the quarter to $36.8 million from $37.6 million in the same quarter last year.
For the first nine months of 2014, EPR reported profits of $109.1 million, compared with net income of $99.3 million over the first nine months last year.
