Overland Park pharmacy benefits company MedTrak Services expands holdings

MedTrak Services, a pharmacy benefit management services company, has acquired Connect Health Solutions of New Jersey.

The purchase, for an undisclosed sum, is the second business acquisition announced in a month by the Overland Park-based company. It recently bought Smith Premier Services of South Carolina.

MedTrak, founded in 1999, was acquired last year by EnvisionRx, which is itself a subsidiary of Rite Aid Corp. MedTrak offers pharmacy benefits plans to midsize self-insured employers.
