Kansas City company will sponsor a TED-like speaker series

A speaker series that promises a roster of well-known names will be introduced Tuesday at the Kansas City Center for the Performing Arts.

A project of Bishop-McCann, an events company in the Crossroads, the planned CHAT Series will be built on the theme “CHAT Globally, Effect Locally.”

Bishop-McCann founder Dan Nelsen recently stepped aside from the CEO job to devote more time to community and nonprofit endeavors.
