The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Finally Looks As Loud As Its V8
The latest Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was revealed last week, and it's become an EV with wonky styling. Larte Design has been hard at work on its predecessor, which still has a V8, and the tuning outfit has made it look just as wild, albeit in a completely different manner. The company has unveiled its new Signature 12-piece dry carbon body kit for the 2024-2026 AMG GT 4-Door, and because the hardware mounts where Mercedes has already created holes, the entire kit not only fits well but can also be reversed without leaving any trace of damage. It's pretty cool, but it's also definitely not for everyone, as this will draw as much attention as a Lambo.
Larte Design's AMG GT 4-Door Kit Makes Lots of Visual Noise
The Signature body kit by Larte Design is not for shrinking violets, and it's perhaps even a little overstyled, but it makes an impact. Larte argues that the facelift the GT 4-Door got in 2024 made the range-topping 63 model look too similar to the entry-level GT 43, especially from a distance, and the solution Larte has come up with is to make its kit bespoke, "designed for one car and signed off for one client." As the wild paint suggests, no two Signature builds will be identical, and very few build slots will even be available. The transformation begins with a vented carbon fiber hood and bumper trim, including dive planes and a splitter with a body-color insert.
Moving backward, new mirror caps and side sill extensions have been fitted, while the rear of the car is even more overt, featuring a multi-slat rear diffuser with an F1-style pair of reflectors in the center and a new roof spoiler. Larte also removes the standard trunk spoiler and replaces it with a new dual-element wing that makes the four-door 'coupe' less rounded. If something feels particularly unusual about this build, you're probably clocking the new crystal LED taillights and the intricate brushed exhaust tups, which are just as crazy as the rest of the body kit.
Larte Design's AMG GT 4-Door Upgrade Comes with Options
Larte offers every new piece in full dry carbon, color-matched to the body, or a mix of the two, and there's a wide range of forged wheels in various finishes. Optionally, customers can also spec interior carbon, new badging, and more. The website also shows a number of color choices, from the purple and black ombré finish seen here to various blues and greens, yellow, orange, red, white, black, and silver. Because of the custom nature of each build, Larte has not provided an estimate on pricing, but we can be sure that a 12-piece dry carbon kit, before paint and wheels, will not be cheap. If you're interested, the kit is now available to order, and once you've registered your interest, Larte Design will send you a personalized proposal within 24 hours, letting you see what your GT 63 4-Door could look like with your selection of options.
