You Shouldn't Miss Hyundai's Affordable Ioniq 9 Lease Deals this April

The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 in a Nutshell

For those in the market for a large, three-row electric crossover that doesn't come with a luxury badge or price tag, the Koreans have you covered. We are, of course, talking about the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and its fraternal twin, the Kia EV9.

Introduced in 2025 for the 2026 model year, the Ioniq 9 serves as Hyundai's flagship electric model, and it's practically a half-step away from being a Genesis. Whereas the Kia errs towards a sportier, more aggressive look, the Hyundai veers towards a near-luxury vibe and ambiance. As it's still a fresh model, there are no updates to report just yet.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Lease Deals for April

All trims of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 are available with lease deals this month, all for 36 months and with a due-at-signing price of $4,999. Starting with the entry-level S, it's just $369 per month, while the SE is $399 per month, so it's possible to lease this large, three-row EV for under $400 a month.

Go for the SEL and that's $449 per month, while the Limited is at $539 per month. As for the Calligraphy and Calligraphy Design, those go for $639 and $679 per month, respectively. As always, it's $0.20 per mile for exceeding the annual limit of 10,000 miles per year. These offers are valid until April 30, 2026.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Highlights

The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 has a base price spread of $58,995 to $76,490 with six trims to choose from. Save for the base S model, all come equipped with all-wheel drive. Other standard equipment includes a pair of 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, Bluelink+ connected services, and, of course, a barrage of advanced driver assists.

Blind-spot monitoring, ventilated seals, and 20-inch alloys come standard in the SEL, while the Limited benefits from a more powerful motor output plus captain's chairs, a panoramic sunroof, and power third-row seats. Calligraphy adds a digital rear-view mirror, a head-up display, remote parking, and plusher interior trim. For Calligraphy Design, it enhances the premium ambiance with unique interior details and H-Tex seating surfaces, and is further distinguished by its matte paint and 21-inch wheels.

Regardless of trim, all use a 110kWh battery, so it's safe to say that all are long-range models. The single-motor, rear-drive S has an output of 215 hp, while the SE and SEL's dual-motor, all-wheel-drive arrangement bumps that number to 303 hp. Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Design have the same setup as the SE and SEL, but power is further increased to 422 hp.

Final Thoughts

For such a large EV, the Ioniq 9 offers an interesting and solid value proposition. Granted, the higher-spec models aren't cheap, but the lease rates for all trims make it a somewhat easily accessible way to enter EV motoring. On top of all that, you get a crossover that's smooth, comfortable, immensely practical, and long-range to boot. For those thinking about getting an EV for the family but still somewhat reluctant to go all-in, these lease offers are a good place to start.
