Website developer NIC reports higher revenue and profit

NIC Inc., the Olathe-based company that develops and services government websites, on Thursday reported higher quarterly revenue and profit.

For the three months that ended June 30, NIC generated revenue of $75.8 million. That was up from $71.2 million in revenue for the same period in 2014.

The company’s second-quarter profit of $11.3 million was up from an $11 million profit in the second quarter last year.
