Cerner’s big win set off Twitter boom

Surprise was widespread Wednesday when the business team involving Cerner Corp. won a $9 billion to $11 billion contract with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Celebration followed for many. But then the conversation turned to doubts and a few pointed jabs at competitors.

And one astute soccer fan looped Sporting KC into the mix using an estimate that the deal could mean $4.3 billion in business for Cerner.
