Cognios Capital LLC, a Leawood-based investment firm, said it has named a new chief executive officer and expanded its sales force.
The company said Gary DiCenzo has replaced John Brandmeyer as chief executive. Brandmeyer, who co-founded Cognios in 2008, is now the firm’s chairman.
DiCenzo had been a consultant to Cognios since January 2014. He previously was president and chief executive of Chicago-based IMC Group and had been president of the Scout Funds.
The company also named Taylor Dorman as regional vice president. He previously worked at Montage Investments.
Cognios had $329.6 million in assets as of June 30.
