Jani Johnson will become CEO of St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City
Jani L. Johnson, who joined St. Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute as a nurse in 1985, will become the chief executive officer of St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City on July 27.
Johnson succeeds Julie Quirin, who has been promoted to the new job of senior vice president of hospital operations for the St. Luke’s Health System.
Johnson has held various management positions in the hospital system, most recently as CEO of St. Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park. She also oversaw the launch of the Mid America Heart Institute at St. Luke’s in 2011.
The hospital system is searching for a new CEO for St. Luke’s South Hospital. Meanwhile, Quirin is overseeing its operations.
