Overland Park based KBP Foods acquires 24 restaurants

KBP Foods LLC, an Overland Park-based franchise company, said it has acquired 24 restaurants in Kansas, Missouri and Florida from a group led by D-Carr Investments. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The acquired restaurants were KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell franchises — all part of Yum! Brands — along with Long John Silver’s locations.

KBP now has 247 restaurants and about 5,000 employees in 10 states. It is one of the largest Yum! Brands franchisees in the nation.
