Want to be more active in 2022? These Kansas City gyms have deals to make it easy

If you’re looking to be more active in 2022, here are a few gyms and fitness centers in the area that are running deals to start off the new year.

Barre3

The barre studio located on West 63rd St. focuses on balanced, full-body workouts. It combines strength, conditioning, cardio and mindfulness in its in-person and online classes.

Barre3 is running the January challenge, which includes 50% off memberships for the first month. It starts at $59 and after the first month, it’ll cost $119. You can sign up here.

You have to commit for at least two months, and if Barre3 isn’t the right place for you, you either have to provide written notice or an email 30 days in advance to cancel.

Jewish Community Center

Out in Overland Park, the Jewish Community Center has a Fitness + Sports + Aquatics Department with a wide range of physical activities that anyone with a membership can use. Basketball courts, weights and group cycling classes are a sample of what they offer.

New members can take advantage of their facility by getting their first two months free when they sign up before Jan. 15.

Sweat Forum

The Prairie Village fitness center offers an array of strength, cardio and yoga classes for its members.

It currently has its 2022 special currently running. It’s 22% off for the first two months of a six-month contract that gives you unlimited access to their studios.

The first two months will cost $117 each and the next four months will cost $150. You can sign up here.

The Body Lab

This fitness center specializes in Lagree Fitness, a type of pilates that Hollywood superstars use. It promises to work your muscles in an intense, 50-minute full-body workout.

They offer a free introduction class to new clients, as well as a one-month New Client Unlimited plan for $149. The plan will work at both Prairie Village or Leawood locations.

Pilates 1901

One of Kansas City’s premier small group training studios, Pilates 1901’s sessions will improve your balance, core strength and posture while keeping you active and injury-free. You can train privately with one of their trainers or join a group workout that’ll challenge, inspire and compliment your goals.

New clients can get four sessions for $40 and if that attracts you, you can sign up here.
