Assurant names new CEO for Kansas City division
Assurant Inc.’s Kansas City-based employee benefits division has a new chief executive officer and president, Adam Lamnin.
He has been promoted to those positions, replacing John Roberts, who is retiring Jan. 1. Roberts, 59, has run the employee benefits operation since July 2007, including the first two years on an interim basis.
Lamnin, 50, also will remain chief executive of Assurant’s health insurance unit, which is based in Milwaukee. He has worked for New York-based Assurant Inc. for 22 years.
Assurant’s employee benefits unit has about 1,600 employees, including more than 800 at its Kansas City headquarters near Crown Center.
