KCI reports continued improvements in passenger traffic

Kansas City International Airport posted its thirteenth consecutive monthly increase in passenger traffic during May.

The number of travelers arriving and departing from KCI climbed 3.3 percent in May to 939,559 passengers compared with May 2014., the Kansas City Aviation Department said.

The number of passengers boarding flights climbed 3.8 percent, the department said.

Earlier this week, Moody’s Investors Service raised its outlook on KCI, noting its improved traffic results.
