ABWA convention set for Overland Park

The American Business Women’s Association will hold its national leadership conference Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at the Overland Park Convention Center. Nonmembers are welcome to attend. Go to abwa.org for the full agenda and registration.

Nationally recognized speakers include: Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of George W. Bush and a contributor to NBC’s “Today”; J.J. Ramber, host of MSNBC’s “Your Business”; Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, founder of Educational Achievement Services; Nina Godiwalla, CEO of Mindworks, and Donna Hicks, co-host of the BBC’s “Facing the Truth.”

The event marks the 65th anniversary of the business women’s networking and education organization founded in Kansas City and now based in Overland Park.
