Seigfreid Bingham law firm names new CEO

Steve Kyle has been named the chief executive officer at Seigfreid Bingham P.C., a Kansas City law firm that is preparing to relocate to the Crown Center area.

Kyle succeeds Joe Hiersteiner, who was chief executive since 2006. Hiersteiner will continue to practice law with Seigfreid Bingham, the firm said Tuesday.

Kyle, who specializes in real estate and development, joined the firm in 1990. He served, among other things, as president of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City in 2010-11.

Seigfreid Bingham was founded in 1974 and has 43 lawyers. It plans to move in early November from its offices in the Commerce Tower at 911 Main St. to 2323 Grand Blvd. The firm will lease about 30,000 square feet on the 10th floor of the building, whose major tenant is the Assurant employee benefits firm.
