The 2015 economic outlook for the Kansas City area will be unveiled Tuesday morning at a Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce event.
Economist Frank Lenk of the Mid-America Regional Council will present the chamber’s annual forecast. In addition, area economist Chris Kuehl, of Armada Corporate Intelligence and author of the chamber’s daily business briefing, will share his views on the outlook for business and the economy.
The chamber breakfast event will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel Crown Center, 2345 McGee St.
This year’s keynote speaker is Robert Litan, a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He’s the author of more than 25 books on economic policy and formerly worked at the Kansas City-based Kauffman Foundation as vice president for research and policy. His remarks will focus on the political scene and the U.S. economy.
