Burns & McDonnell is expanding its energy terminal and pipeline business

Burns & McDonnell is expanding its business group that focuses on infrastructure projects for oil and natural gas production across North America.

The Kansas City-based engineering and architectural firm said it expects to hire about 30 people in this energy sector. The workers will be based in the company’s offices in Houston, Denver, Oklahoma City and St. Louis.

The company recently named Hoyt Brown as the national business manager for energy terminals and pipelines. Brown will be based in Houston, the location of Burns & McDonnell’s largest regional office.
