Westlake Hardware expands in Texas

Westlake Ace Hardware said Monday it has acquired a hardware store in Texas for an undisclosed price.

The Lenexa-based company purchased Turner Hardware in Farmers Branch, increasing the number of stores Westlake has in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to five.

Westlake now has 90 stores in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.The company is the largest member of the Ace Hardware Cooperative.
