Sullivan Higdon & Sink names co-chief executive officers

Sullivan Higdon & Sink has promoted its two senior vice presidents to co-chief executive officers as part of a management reorganization.

John January and Ali Mahaffy will oversee the advertising and marketing agency’s growth and day-to-day operations of its offices here and in Wichita and Washington. The two executives have worked together closely at Sullivan Higdon & Sink for about 14 years, the firm said.

Sullivan Higdon & Sink, which has 140 employees, did not previously have a chief executive officer. Instead, managing partners Rand Mikulecky, Tom Bertels and Lynell Stucky along with the senior vice presidents oversaw the agency’s operations, the firm said.

The three managing partners will continue to work with key clients and handle other current responsibilities, the firm said. The agency also announced several other management promotions.

Sullivan Higdon & Sink reported annual billings of $126 million.
