Menorah in Overland Park names a new CEO
Charles Laird has been named to succeed Steven Wilkinson as chief executive officer of Menorah Medical Center, a part of HCA Midwest Health. Wilkinson retired earlier this year. Laird will take the reins on May 4, the company said Monday.
Laird will come to the Kansas City area from Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, also part of HCA, in Webster, Tex., where he has been chief operating officer. Before working at Clear Lake, Laird was chief operating officer at West Houston Medical Center, also part of HCA.
Laird earned a masters of science in healthcare from Trinity University in San Antonio, and a bachelor of arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
