Memorial service is set for Cerner’s Neal Patterson
A memorial service for Neal Patterson has been set for 11 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.
The Cerner co-founder, chairman and CEO died Sunday at age 67.
The Cerner Corp. public relations department said the Patterson family asked that the company share details on the public memorial.
The service also will be live-streamed at cor.org/memorialsonline.
Former U.S. Sen. John Danforth, who resigned in May from his service on the Cerner board of directors, will join the church’s lead pastor, the Rev. Adam Hamilton, in officiating.
