Alterra Bank name will change in Leawood

Leawood-based Alterra Bank will operate as First Business Bank effective June 1, 2017, with Rob Barker as its new president.

Alterra earlier this year consolidated with First Business Bank of Milwaukee and First Business Bank of Brookfield, Wis.

Alterra previously closed its Overland Park branch.

The First Business Financial Services Inc. parent company operates 14 locations in the United States.
