Dairy Farmers of America annual meeting starts Tuesday in KC

The Dairy Farmers of America, the Kansas City-based national dairy marketing cooperative, will hold its annual meeting here starting Tuesday. More than 1,400 cooperative members are expected to attend the two-day event at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.

The organization, which recently announced plans to move its headquarters from near Kansas City International Airport to western Wyandotte County, is owned by more than 14,000 members in 48 states.
