Tivol, watchmaker team up to benefit National World War I Museum

Tivol and European watchmaker Bell & Ross are teaming up on a partnership to benefit the National World War I Museum at Kansas City’s Liberty Memorial.

Bell & Ross is exhibiting its Vintage watch collection — inspired by designs from the war — at a display in the museum gift shop until Jan. 2, 2015.

The watches can be purchased at Tivol’s two stores, on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City and Hawthorne Plaza in Overland Park. The jeweler will donate two percent of the sales proceeds to the museum over the next four months, according to an announcement Wednesday.

The Bell & Ross collection begins with the PW1, based on the pocket watch worn by French soldiers during Wolrd War I.
